Foam cleaning with eco-program – the new Green Button

We are all familiar with eco programs from washing machines and dishwashers. In these programs, the “time” factor is increased in order to reduce energy consumption and the use of media. This is not possible with professional foam cleaning. Nevertheless, the PHT Group has developed an innovative eco program to significantly reduce energy and water consumption: the PHT Green Button. Foam cleaning usually consists of several cleaning steps:

1. Pre-rinsing

2. Intermediate cleaning

3. Post-rinsing

We start with the degree of soiling and the cleaning process – and optimize the pressure. Experience shows that less pressure is needed for both rinsing and intermediate cleaning. This is because post-rinsing usually only removes foam residues and disinfectants. During intermediate cleaning, the cleaning medium is applied after a rough pre-cleaning with pressure. Therefore, high pressure is no longer necessary here either.

The PHT Green Button now makes it easy for the user to reduce the pressure by 10 bar during the cleaning process. Simply by pressing a button during operation. This means that the cleaning process is not disrupted by the Eco function.

50% less energy with Eco function

Energy consumption is drastically reduced – by up to 52 percent. Instead of 2.7 kWh, the foam cleaner only uses 1.3 kWh in the eco program. The important resource water is also saved – by almost 6 liters per minute. Or per hour: by up to 348 liters. That’s around 20 percent of total water consumption.
